Join us in person at Knight School to hear about advances in blood cancer research and treatment from Dr. Brian Druker and Dr. Julia Maxson
Knight School is a series of talks to inform the community about the work at the Knight Cancer Institute advancing cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship. Come join us to learn more through stories told by Knight Cancer researchers, clinicians, and patients.
Featuring Dr. Brian Druker, CEO of the Knight Cancer Institute and developer of Gleevec, the first medication that specifically targets cancer cells and Dr. Julia Maxson, Associate Professor of the Division of Oncological Sciences, and Hematology & Medical Oncology. Attendees will learn about advances in blood cancer research and treatment.
Please join us after the presentation for a reception with light refreshments.

Visiting the KCRB:
Please use the entrance at the western end of the building, facing S. Moody Avenue. The KCRB is locked at all times, and staff will be onsite to assist with door access.
Parking & Transportation
Parking is FREE in the OHSU Schnitzer Lot (next to the KCRB) after 5 pm. Street parking is also available for a fee. Unfortunately, we are unable to validate parking.
Parking on campus is limited, so we encourage our guests to use alternative transportation whenever possible. The KCRB is conveniently accessible via several main public transportation lines. Attendees can take TriMet bus lines 9, 17, or 19, the MAX Orange Line, or the Portland Streetcar and disembark at either the S. Moody & Meade or S. Waterfront/Moody Transit Stations.
