Join us for a special screening of the film “Into the Unknown: My Cancer Story," a documentary created by OHSU patient and filmmaker Matthew Thomas Ross, which chronicles his battle against Stage 4 appendix cancer. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Matthew and his cancer care provider, Dr. Divya Sood; moderated by Dr. Flavio Rocha.
Knight School is a series of talks to inform the community about the work at the Knight Cancer Institute advancing cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship. Come join us to learn more through stories told by Knight Cancer researchers, clinicians, and patients.
Event Schedule
Visiting the Knight Cancer Research Building (KCRB):
The KCRB is locked at all times, and staff will be onsite to assist with door access. Please use the entrance at the western end of the building, facing S. Moody Avenue.
Parking & Transportation
Parking is FREE in the OHSU Schnitzer Lot (next to the KCRB) after 5 pm. Street parking is also available for a fee. Unfortunately, we are unable to validate parking. Click here for detailed driving instructions to the OHSU South Waterfront.
Parking on campus is limited, so we encourage our guests to use alternative transportation whenever possible. The KCRB is conveniently accessible via several main public transportation lines. Attendees can take TriMet bus lines 9, 17, or 19, the MAX Orange Line, or the Portland Streetcar and disembark at either the S. Moody & Meade or S. Waterfront/Moody Transit Stations.
